*** Two weeks ago a very interesting event took place in premises of  Belgrade Art Association " Arteesa".   Arteesa is a designers’ association, created out of desire to empower the independent designers making handmade jewellery and accessories. It aims to enable and promote the production and worldwide export of handcrafts from Serbia by serving as a direct channel for promotion, sales and payment processing for it’s members.

I was very happy to be the one among a few jewelry designers invited to attend the first art workshop, one of many that are going to be organized in future. All supplies, including silver and copper wire,  various gem stones and semi-precious stones in all colors, shapes and sizes have been provided by "Arteesa". For me it was a unique experience since most of the time I have only a limited choice of gems and semi-precious stones. This time I felt like Daffy Duck in Ali Baba's cave:)), so much to choose from! During the day I have managed to make a copper neklace with a pendant embelished with set of stones in red, coral and mauve tones. It is soon going to be featured, among with other finished pieces from this workshop,  in "Arteesa" online shop and will be available for purchase.

This event was also a unique opportunity to meet other talented designers and to exchange experiences with them. Here they are:
