HOW TO MAKE AND BAKE FIMO BEADS - KAKO NAPRAVITI I ISPEĆI PERLICE OD FIMO MASE

>>> Well, don't ask me 'cause I don't know either, as you can see. Last time, I have promised to share with you my failed trials of FIMO beads. So, here they are in all of their glorious imperfection :). They remind me a lot of Serbian Slava's cookies...so, I definitely don't want cookies or edible looking components for my jewelry and that's why I didn't want to develop it further.
>>> <<<

>>> Another reason is that I simply didn't enjoy the process of cane work and millefiori, at least not at this moment. Maybe it is impatience from my side that prevents me from taking further steps and making more jewelry pieces in these techniques. I couldn't wait to see the results and there were a lot of steps to be done before the final outcome.

>>> I'm sure that a beautiful jewelry pieces could be done this way. A skilled and patient person certainly knows how. Some of the most beautiful beads in the world, like African trade beads, have been made in millefiori technique (in glass).  However, I still think that it could be "dangerous" to use these techniques, because they could easily take you to kitchy designs, especially if you intend to use a lot of colors.

>>> That's why I have decided to use only two colors and to get engaged into some graphism instead: stripes, checkered print, etc. . If I'd be more into working in these techniques,  I'm sure I would perfect them. But as you can see, I used clay leftovers just to play with and to make some free style beads, like those two big, round/cilinder beads. Is it because of the white and blue colorway or something else,  but they remind me a lot of Japanese pottery. That's why I decided next time to make some Japanese style beads :).
