MY NEXT WIRE CROCHET JEWELRY PROJECT - MOJ SLEDEĆI PROJEKAT NAKITA OD KUKIČANE ŽICE

>>>  Once I have determined that I want to give wire crochet a try, I'm now in a phase I want to experiment with wire gauges, hook sizes, beads (to bead or not to bead, small or chunky beads, etc.).  Here I have five works - I still don't know which kind of work I have the most affinity for. By making them I think I have gained some experience and confidence and it brought me closer to the style I think I like the most.
>>> <<<

>>>  Here I have made a plain, basic ring, from just a wire. This is a theme I want to develop into more comprehensive collection, sometimes later. So far I want to experiment with wire and beads. However, I think the ring in this technique is beautiful. I used 32 Ga steel wire and was crocheting a simple chain stitch, which got me to this irregular, organic structure. By being lacy at same time, it is also very feminine and sophisticated. I made this photo early in the morning to be able to catch the shadows. I think shadows speak more about the nature of this ring, or at least, they can emphasize and bring out all the beauty of it. This ring would be a real Bingo if made in 24 K gold or sterling silver and by knitting a double or triple wires together.  Hopefully one day I'll be able to make a line in that manner.

>>>  A wire crochet bangle made from various size glass seed beads in red tones and beautiful Czech glass beads in purple tones. Some of the beads are transparent and some are solid. I have always loved red & purple combination and this one reminds me of some colored ice chunks captured in a "spiderweb" . This bangle, actually, reminds me of so many things - let's say, planets and galaxies for one,  swirling around some missing Sun... you can imagine one inside the bangle :).

>>>  Again, irregularly sized beads in transparent red, with a touch of pale pink and peach tones. The novelty here is a curly, light pink wire and the fact that I was crocheting with a large size crochet hook. The result is this romantic, girly bracelet with a beautiful silver closure.

>>>  But I was looking for some modern and elegant solution and here I have finally came to a version of a crochet work which I like the most for now - it's tightly knitted bracelet, richly decorated with glass seed beads in red and pale pink tones. I have used a fine size of a crochet hook.

>>>  This kind of work is good both for the straight forms, with even sides and for the irregular forms, like triangles, where you need to deduct some stitches. This is an example of bracelet where face and back are the same and so can be worn from both sides.

 >>>  This feature is great when it comes to earrings, since they are usually dangling around its' axes and you don't have to worry about their appearance since they look equally pretty from both sides. That makes them: Two Sided Dangling Earrings. This way you can shape it in any form you want: triangles, squares, circles, etc.
